Chloe’s world of triumph

Devon schoolgirl Chloe Olford took part in the Biathle Championship World Finals in Spain.


The GB team came away with silver, and Chloe, who goes to Stover School, came fifth in the Under 17s Individual Biathle.

and was the first British athlete in her race to cross the finish line.

Biathle is a sub-sport of modern pentathlon.

Athletes compete in a continuous run-swim-run competition. The competition consists of a pack start followed by a run, a swim before a final run to the finish line.

Chloe took part in the National Biathle Championships in Manchester coming second and gaining automatic qualification to the World Finals. Chloe is ranked third nationally for her sport.
