Try out sessions being held in January

Bristol Baseball Club will be holding two sessions in January for people wanting to try out the sport.

People of any level of experience are welcome at the sessions in Bristol and Bath which will be run by the club’s coaches.

The Bristol intro session will be held at Merchants Sports Academy in South Bristol on Sunday, January 14 between 9.30 am and 12 noon and the Bath session will be held a week later, on Sunday, January 21 (9.30 am-12 noon), at Kingswood School on Landsdown Road in Bath.

“Anyone wanting to try their hand at this fantastic game, no matter their experience, is welcome,” said club chairman Richard Evans. “Our coaches will take everyone through the basics of the game and we provide all the equipment.”

The club is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2018 and the reigning South West Baseball League champions, the Bristol Badgers, will be setting foot on the national stage.

Both sessions cost just £5 and people interested can sign up via the club’s website: www.bristolbaseball.co.uk.
