PLYMOUTH RAIDERS SUFFER HOME DEFEAT TO SHARKS

PLYMOUTH Raiders suffered a second home defeat of the weekend when they went down to in-form DBL Sharks Sheffield on Sunday.

Raiders had heartbreakingly lost 82-80 to Glasgow Rocks on Friday in the BBL Cup quarter-finals and then went down 66-57 in a low-scoring BBL Championship match against Sheffield on Sunday.

Sharks have impressed on the road this season and their win in Devon was their sixth in a row in the league.

Rashad Hassan top scored for Raiders with 17, while Mike Tuck, with 19, was Sheffield’s top scorer.

Raiders were within four at the midpoint of the fourth before a triple from Tuck sparked a 7-0 run to help Sheffield close out the victory.
