Raiders have been handed a home BBL Trophy quarter-final tie

After defeating West Country rivals Bristol Flyers last Sunday, Plymouth Raiders have been handed a home BBL Trophy quarter-final tie against either Leeds Force or Leicester Riders.

Should the Riders defeat Leeds it will set up a repeat of last season’s final in which Leicester coasted to the title with a 91-58 victory over the Devon club.

Esh Group Eagles Newcastle were handed a home draw against DBL Sharks Sheffield, who defeated NBL Division One side Manchester Magic on Friday night.

There is guaranteed to be one non-BBL side in the quarter-finals with Falkirk Fury and Loughborough Student Riders – who go head-to-head on Wednesday – taking on either Manchester Giants or London Lions.

Worcester Wolves are past winners of the competition and they will be on the road in the last-eight with a trip to either Cheshire Phoenix or Glasgow Rocks.

BBL Trophy – Quarter-Finals:
Cheshire Phoenix or Glasgow Rocks v Worcester Wolves
Esh Group Eagles Newcastle v DBL Sharks Sheffield
Manchester Giants or London Lions v Sony Centre Fury or Loughborough Student Riders
Plymouth Raiders v Leeds Force or Leicester Riders.
