PLYMOUTH Raiders will be hoping to return to winning ways and end a terrible record against Leicester Riders when they meet at the Morningside Arena in the BBL Championships on Friday night.

Raiders lost to Glasgow Rocks in the cup and Sheffield Sharks in the league last weekend.

And if they are to bounce back they will have to end a run of 22 consecutive defeats to Leicester.

The last meeting between the sides came in April when Leicester won 104-75 at the Pavilions.

The Raiders squad has been ravaged by injuries of late and head coach, Paul James, will have to utilise his full squad come Friday night.

When asked about his side’s chances against Leicester, James stated that: “Who knows.  It’s a competitive league this year.  Certainly, we’ve shown we are a defensively solid team, but we are like the walking wounded at the moment.
