WEST Indies fast bowler Jerome Taylor will be returning to Somerset for their 2019 Vitality Blast campaign.
The T20 World Cup winner made a huge impact for Somerset in last season’s competition, taking 22 wickets in 11 matches at an average of just 16.64 as they reached Finals Day.
Taylor said: “I really enjoyed my time at Somerset last year and I’m looking forward to going back. There was a great atmosphere in the dressing room and that showed out on the pitch.
“Getting to Finals Day with that group was a special experience and I hope that I can help Somerset get back there in 2019.”
Somerset director of cricket Andy Hurry said: “Jerome made a real impact during the 2018 Vitality Blast campaign and we are really excited to be continuing our relationship with him.”
