YOANN ARQUIN will stay with Yeovil Town until at least the end of the 2018-19 season.

The 30-year-old arrived at Huish Park in the summer and signed a six-month deal after impressing during pre-season.

He has now signed an extension on that contract until the end of the campaign.

The Martinique international has made 24 appearances and scored four goals for Darren Way’s side.

Arquin said: “I’m very happy to have extended my contract with Yeovil and already can’t wait for the rest of the season.  I’ve enjoyed my time so far as a Glover and have loved working with the gaffer and the rest of the squad.”

Manager Darren Way added: “Yoann has been a very important player for us in the first half of the season so to secure his services for the remainder of the campaign is a big boost for us all.

“Yoann knows he has to keep working hard week in, week out but his signature is a boost as we head towards the January transfer window. I look forward to continuing to work with him and seeing what the remainder of the season has in store.”
