Mohamed and Buck join Bath City

New Bath City manager Jerry Gill has made his first two signings.

Gill immediately secured a return to Twerton Park for Kaid Mohamed and he was joined by young Bristol striker Oaklan Buck as the manager looks to sharpen their goal threat.

But Gill also said he was confident that he has the core of players to keep the side pushing towards the play-offs in Vanarama National (South), even though his first game in charge led to defeat.

“I can’t knock their work ethic or their attitude because their attitude was great,” said Gill. “But now the weeks will settle down to give us a chance to reflect on this game; reflect on which players we’ve got and where we need to improve it.

“Going forward, we’ll hopefully see a team that’s even more competitive with a bit more quality in the final third.”
