AFC Bournemouth have recalled American midfielder Emerson Hyndman from a loan spell at Scottish club Hibernian.

The 22-year-old had been on a six-month deal at Easter Road, but Bournemouth have decided not to extend it as they want him back due to injuries.

Hyndman, who has a contract with the Cherries until 2010, has made 17 appearances for Hibernian and had previously said he would be happy to stay longer in Scotland.

The United States international joined Bournemouth in 2016 from Fulham but has so far only made seven appearances. Last season he had a six month loan spell with Rangers.
