BOURNEMOUTH finally returned to winning ways on Tuesday night with a 2-1 home victory over Huddersfield Town.
It was the Cherries’ first league win in five games and has lifted them up to sixth in the Premier League standings.
New England international Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser proved their match winners.
Wilson headed them ahead after just five minutes when he showed strength to get on the end of a Fraser cross.
Wilson then put Fraser in to score a second on 22 minutes.
Huddersfield cut the gap seven minutes before half-time when Terence Kongolo’s scored his first goal for the West Yorkshire club, but Bournemouth managed to see out the second half to pick up a welcome three points.
