AFC BOURNEMOUTH missed out on a place in the Carabao Cup semi-finals after losing 1-0 away at Chelsea on Wednesday night.
Substitute Eden Hazard scored a late winner for the home club, who will now face Tottenham in the last four.
The other semi-final will see defending champions Manchester City take on League One side Burton Albion.
Bournemouth were just six minutes away from taking their quarter-final tie into extra-time when Perdo gave Hazard a chance and his shot deflected off Charlie Daniels and past Artur Boruc.
The Cherries, who have never reached a major cup semi-final, had chances but were unable to take them, with Callum Wilson shooting wide and Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga saving from Lys Mousset.
