AFC BOURNEMOUTH head to Chelsea on Wednesday evening undefeated in the Premier League since December 23rd.
“We’re in pretty good shape,” manager, Eddie Howe told afcb.co.uk. “Joshua King and Junior Stanislas are back available, which has been a huge boost for us, and everyone else is fit with the exception of Jermain Defoe.
“He’s still with the physio; he’s working on the grass and building up towards his fitness. He’s still got a bit to go but he’s doing well and we’re happy with his progress.
“We go to Stamford Bridge in a good frame of mind; since the turn of the year we’ve been in good form and have re-found our goalscoring touch.
“On the back of our recent game there in the League Cup [which ended in a narrow 2-1 defeat] we take great confidence from that and will be looking to take that into the game.”
The Cherries sit 12th in the table with 25 points to their name and face a Chelsea side in third place, but 15 points adrift of leaders, Manchester City, who were the last team to beat Eddie Howe’s side in the Premier League.
