Somerset Intermediate Cup success for Mid Somerset League Division One outfit...

AN injury time equaliser from Callum Knight earned Watchet Town Reserves of the Taunton Saturday League a late reprieve in the Tuesday’s Somerset Intermediate Cup Final, but opponents Peasedown Albion from the Mid Somerset League Division One, dusted themselves down having held the lead for so long, and bounced back to eventually lift the cup winning 3-1 win after extra time at Cheddar FC.

Lee Gould had earlier scored what looked likely to be the winner in normal time. And Gould struck again in extra time to regain the the lead for Albion whose win was confirmed by Aaron Vine.
