FEDERICI LEAVES CHERRIES AS BROOKS ARRIVES

One in, one out at AFC Bournemouth...

AFC Bournemouth’s Adam Federici has joined Stoke City as a replacement for Lee Grant who has in turn clinched a move to Manchester United.

The goalkeeper, capped 10 times by Australia, who first signed for the Cherries back in 2015, will link up with Gary Rowett’s side ahead of their Championship campaign following their relegation from the Premier Division in May.

Federici (33) made 17 appearances for The Cherries across a three-year spell, also representing the Socceroos during that time.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has made his first signing of the Summer with midfielder David Brooks arriving from Sheffield United on a four year contract. The 20-year-old played 33 times scoring three times for the Blades and has earned three full caps for Wales. The fee is thought to be in the region of £12m with an additional £3m to follow in performance-related payments.
