Forest Green Rovers vs Exeter City Preview

Unbeaten Exeter City will face off against newly promoted Forest Green Rovers on Saturday at The New Lawn.

Exeter City have been in fine form, sitting at the top of League Two while Forest Green Rovers are adjusting to the league. Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale is cautious of their opponents on Saturday.

“It is really hard to tell what to expect with a newly-promoted team because it takes time to establish yourself, find your feet and players to get their bearings” said Tisdale.

“They will have their sights set on more promotions and more progress. I don’t think we should take them for granted. I don’t think we should do anything over than what we have done over the last five games and try to repeat it. And that is to challenge and compete and do our best.”

Ryan Harley and Dean Moxey continue to be out for Exeter City but Kane Wilson is available after the West Brom loanee returned from international duty. New signings Hiram Boateng, Jayden Stockley and loanee Kyle Edwards are also be available for selection.

Forest Green Rovers will be looking to continue their unbeaten home record against Exeter City.
