Much-travelled 19-year-old striker Olly Mehew has rejoined Forest Green Rovers following a short loan spell with Taunton Town.
Mehew signed for Taunton only three weeks ago and was due to stay with the Evo-Stik Southern League club until the New Year.
The youngster was on Blackburn Rovers’ books before joining Bristol Rovers where he went on to have loan spells with Mangotsfield United and Shortwood United.
He signed for Forest Green in June, 2016, and has since been on loan with Mangotsfield twice, Salisbury and Cirencester.
Meanwhile Taunton have been hard-hit by injuries and were missing three centre-backs for last weekend’s game against AFC Totton.
Even so they went into yesterday’s away game against Bishops Cleeve, having dropped only two points in Southern League West and having the same number of points as leaders Bristol Manor Farm.
