EXETER City look set to lose their top scorer Jayden Stockley.
The 25-year-old has already scored 16 goals for the League Two side this season, having netted 25 times last term after joining from Scottish side Aberdeen.
His form for City has brought him to the attention of a host of higher league clubs and the Grecians have confirmed a number have triggered a release clause in his contract.
In a statement, Exeter City said: “To keep our fans informed we would like to let our supporters know that as of January 1 several clubs have triggered a set fee release clause in Jayden Stockley’s contract.
“Despite our best efforts to retain his services, Jayden is now free to speak to those clubs.”
