HONITON TOWN ON THE HUNT FOR NEW MANAGER

Duo depart the club...

HONITON Town FC have begun the search for a new manager after confirmation that the pairing of Graham Bedford and Alan Lewis had left the club.

A club statement read: “The club would like to thank Graham Bedford and Alan Lewis for all their efforts as first team manager and coach, who have now left their positions with Honiton Town.

“Both came into the club midway through the season and were able to ensure that The Hippos maintained their South West Peninsular League status.

“The club hopes to be in a position shortly to announce Honiton Town’s First Team Manager. Until this time there will be no further comment made by the club.”

Bedford and Lewis took the reins at Mountbatten Park last November following the resignation of Paul Ashford and led the Hippos to five wins in their 16 matches in charge as the team finished 14th in their inaugural season in the SW Peninsular League Division One (East).
