THERE is light at the end of the tunnel for midfielder, Timi Elsnik, as he eyes a return to action with Swindon Town.
The Slovenian arrived at the County Ground on loan from Derby County at the start of the season but has been sidelined since November through injury.
He got an hour of action under his belt for parent club, Derby County Under-23s, during the week and is now eager to play his part for The Robins between now and the end of the campaign.
“It was brilliant to be back playing after eight weeks out,” he told swindontownfc.co.uk. “It was good to get 60 minutes as well before I came back to Swindon so I’m going to be game ready and I’m not going to have any questions in my head when I start playing League games again.
“I feel fine, everything is out of the way now and I am 100% ready to play.
“Now is the most important part of the season and we have something to fight for, so I can’t wait to get back to Swindon and help lift the team up and get us to promotion!”
