Trip to North Devon facing the cup holders

Last weekend’s Throgmorton Devon Premier Cup third round matches saw two Peninsula sides go out to opposition from the feeder leagues.

Crediton United lost 3-2 at home to South Devon Premier League side Watcombe Wanderers while Holsworthy went down 1-0 at home to Macron Devon & Exeter Premier League leaders Elmore.

Two other Peninsula sides also went out of the competition with Axminster Town losing 1-0 at home to Plymstock United while Elburton Villa went down 3-1 at home to Honiton Town.

The 11 remaining Peninsula clubs who were in the hat for the fourth round draw certainly had varying fortunes.

Teignmouth face a tricky tie away at Horsden Park where they will meet Elmore and Bovey Tracey travel to North Molton. Holders University of Exeter travel to Shamwickshire Rovers while Budleigh Salterton go to Watcombe Wanderers.
