WEYMOUTH TAKE ON THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

A friendly with an International flavour for The Terras...

Weymouth manager Mark Molesley took the opportunity last night to have a look at some of his dual registration and younger fringe players whilst not risking some of his key personnel ahead of the run in to the end of the season and the play off matches.

The match itself came about when The British Virgin Islands team, who are currently ranked 205th in the FIFA Rankings, and have spent the past few days at their training camp at Milton Abbey School, making an approach through their assistant manger Dan Neville who runs the Champion Football coaching company in Lytchett.

The Terras makeshift line-up, which included Molesley, was quickly into their stride and took the lead in the 10th minute through Josh Wakefield and Charlie Davis doubled the lead inside 20 minutes from the penalty spot after Sanchez Baker was tripped. Baker himself made it 3-0 after a neat interchange with namesake Harry.

The BVI gave a run out to Weymouth youngster Bailey Rowe and almost got himself on the scoresheet before being crowded out.

Harvey lewis nodded home from a Wakefield corner before Harry Baker made it 5-0 on the hour mark.

Carlos Septus then got the BVI off the mark before the scoring was rounded off by Elliot Rossiter.
