WILLAND Rovers have been handed a home tie against Cray Valley in the quarter-finals of the FA Vase.

The draw was made on Monday afternoon at Wembley Stadium by FA National Game competitions committee vice-chairman Nick Robinson and broadcaster and non-League impresario Tony Incenzo.

Western League side Willand secured their spot in the last eight by beating Deeping Rangers 3-2 at home in a thrilling match on Saturday.

Their London opponents in the quarter-finals, Cray Valley play in the Southern Counties East League and are targeting promotion to the Isthmian League.

Elsewhere in the draw, there was an eye-catching tie with Wessex League high-fliers Sholing making the trip north to Cheshire where they will play Northwich Victoria.

The ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday, February 23, 2019.
