KANE WILSON has re-joined Exeter City on loan from Championship side West Bromwich Albion.

The 18-year-old full-back enjoyed a successful spell at St James’ Park last season, making 22 appearances for the Grecians and helping them reach the League Two play-off final at Wembley.

He has spent the first half of this campaign on-loan at League One side Walsall, where he has made nine appearances, but has jumped at the chance to return to Exeter, where he says he has ‘unfinished business’.

“When I was at Exeter City last time it was a really fond spell that I look back on,” said Wilson. “Getting so close to going up and not going up, I now know how much it means to everyone there and how much they want it. It is definitely unfinished business for me and I am coming back there ready.

“As soon as the opportunity came up, I wanted to jump on it. I have been there before and I know the club and I know the fans and I know how much Exeter City means to them.”
