WES McDONALD has left Yeovil Town after his short-term contract at Huish Park expired.
The 21-year-old former Birmingham City winger joined the League Two club just days before the 2018-19 season started on contract until January.
The club and the player had been in negotiations about a new deal but a hamstring injury is set to rule out McDonald for much of the second half of the season.
He has made 12 appearances for the Glovers, but just one of them have come since November.
McDonald joins Enes Mahmutovic and Omari Patrick in leaving Huish Park.
Mahmutovic and Patrick had been on loan deals from Middlesbrough and Bradford City, respectively, but have returned to their parent clubs.
