Helen quits but will keep coaching role

Yeovil Town’s Helen Bleazard, who has made 96 SuperLeague appearances, has decided to hang up her boots. But she will continue in her role as Glovers’ head of youth and a coach within the under-14 set-up.

Bleazard joined the club as a 14-year-old and then spent time at both Bristol and Chelsea before returning to Yeovil in 2014.

She was a key player in the club’s promotion to SuperLeague One and will be remembered as the girl who made it to the top flight with her home town club.
