Plymouth Argyle Ladies striker Natasha Knapman picked up the top goalscorer award for the FA Premier League’s South West Division at the 2017 FA Women’s Football Awards.
The 26 year old was in excellent form last season. Knapman managed to find the back of the net 30 times in all competitions. More impressively, this total was managed from just 17 appearances.
Talking about her goal tally, Knapman said, “I couldn’t have done it without my team. A lot of it has been about being in the right place at the right time, so I’ve got my teammates to thank.
Knapman has continued her goalscoring form this season, scoring two goals in Argyle’s 4-0 win against Maidenhead United Ladies yesterday.
