Match Preview – Yeovil Town vs Port Vale


After a 1-1 draw at Vale Park in the recent FA Cup fixture, The Glovers will face Port Vale again to get a spot in the next round of the Emirates FA Cup. The winners of this replay will play Bradford City.

Jordan Greens late equaliser is the reason Yeovil earns the replay after Port Vale going ahead on the 60th minute mark.

The two sides come into the cup clash following varying fortunes at the weekend, with Town looking to bounce back from defeat and Port Vale looking to build on victory

Todays game will be the second time Port Vale have travelled to Huish Park this season, overall Yeovil Town have won three out of ten encounters with Port Vale.

The Glovers will be without Rhys Browne due to a ankle injury and Oscar Gobern due to a hamstring injury.

Town manager Darren Way, is able to add Sid Nelson in to the squad as he has served his three-match suspension.
