A comfortable 2-0 win last night for the Glovers at Huish Park as they progress into the third round of the Checkatrade Trophy.

The first goal of the game came from Keston Davies which gave them the lead just after half time, and a late goal from Jake Gray sealed the game.

The victory was the Glovers third against a Sky Bet League One side, with the win Yeovil ensured their name went into Fridays draw.

Yeovil manager, Darren Way made five changes from the FA Cup draw. Jordan Green made his fourth start of the season after being Saturday’s goal hero.

New signing Oscar Gobern who made his debut at Vale Park on Saturday, started his first game last night for the Glovers.

Yeovil went un-rewarded in the first half even though they dominated and deserved to take the lead. A few minutes into the second half and Davies opened up the scoring.

The Glovers continued their attacking intent, with shots from James and Zoko which didn’t test the Don’s goalkeeper. Glovers eventually found their second goal of the match after substitute Gray sent a low driving shot into the corner to confirm a place in Checkatrade Trophy round 3
