Brother and sister bring back medals

Eight high-grade players from South Brent Judo Club (SBJC) headed to Sheffield in order to take part in the highlight of the domestic calendar, the British Judo Pre-Cadet and Cadet Championships.

Medals, national ranking points, Dan grade points and England squad places for 2018 were all up for grabs.

It was a fast and frantic two days of judo at the English Institute of Sport and the SBJC players rose to the challenge brilliantly.

The pick of the results was a gold and bronze combination for brother and sister Max and Cordelia Gregory plus a bronze for Zoe Butler.

Kolya Schwinge and Adam Vosper both finished fifth while Lewis Taylor, Pierre Michelin and Josh Shipp all fought well and just finished outside the medals.
