Scotland is back on the ‘to visit’ list for Cornish residents, thanks to new year-round routes from Newquay from Flybe and new operator Loganair.

From March 29, 2020, Flybe services from Cornwall Airport Newquay to Edinburgh will operate up to five times a week throughout the year, a significant increase on the previous schedule.

Loganair is launching its new routes to Aberdeen and Glasgow on April 1 2020 and May 22, respectively, and will also offer up to five flights per week year-round.

Richard Thomasson, interim airport director at Cornwall Airport Newquay, said: “Scotland has long since been a popular outbound destination from Cornwall and we’re delighted that these new and improved services will offer more options for travel than ever before.

“Given the appeal that Scotland has as a destination, and the distance involved in getting there, we know how popular these new services will be.”
