POLICE MAKE APPEAL AFTER KNIFEPOINT ROBBERY IN ILFRACOMBE


POLICE are appealing for information following a knifepoint robbery in Ilfracombe.

A man dressed in dark clothing and a hoodie, with his face covered, threatened a shop worker at the St Mary’s Premier Express store, on The Promenade, at around 8pm on Sunday (April 28).

The suspect fled with a quantity of cash and tobacco products, leaving the cashier unhurt but very shaken.

Police investigating the robbery are seeking information to help identify the male, or for local residents and shops with CCTV in the area to come forward.
