After months of work, a film featuring a West Country father and son who went on an adventure in the Canadian wilderness is set for a big screening.
The film follows professional adventurer and Newquay school teacher Chris Lucas and his father Niall Lucas as they tackle a 500- mile canoe journey through the Yukon.
The film’s producer, Charlie Fripp, from Fieldgrazer Productions, said: “The landscape is re- ally cinematic, so we are really excited that the film is showing on the big screen.
“The support from our community here has been amazing.”
The film includes music by local musician and graphic designer, Daniel Benney, who also designed the film’s art work.
He said: “It is great to be able to collaborate on creative projects here in Cornwall.”
Director Chris Lucas said: “It is amazing to see the result of all the hard work on the big screen and I hope the film inspires other people to take on their own adven- tures”
The film is screening on October 12 at the Plaza Cinema in Truro.
