PLYMOUTH Albion backs Dan Powell and Josh Skelcey have signed new one-year contracts with the National One club.
Full-back Powell has been at Albion for the past three seasons after moving to Brickfields from Exmouth, but he did spend the end of last term playing in Australia.
He is now looking forward to next year’s campaign.
“This will be my fourth season at the club now and, although I’ve had some bad luck with injuries in my time at Albion, I feel really at home here,” said Powell.
Winger Skelcey joined Albion last summer from Championship side Nottingham.
The 24-year-old has missed a large part of this season due to knee injury, but since returning to fitness he has scored five tries in 11 games.
“I am delighted to be staying on at Albion,” he said. “These past few months playing have been fantastic and I always feel very proud to go out and wear the Albion shirt.”
