BATH hooker Tom Dunn could make his England debut on Saturday when England play Scotland at Murrayfield.
Dunn has been named on the bench after Exeter Chiefs’ Luke Cowan-Dickie had to leave the squad as his partner had gone into laboour.
Gloucester scrum-half come in to start in place of Ben Youngs, while Bath’s Jonathan Joseph replaces the injured centre Manu Tuilagi.
England, who also have Exeter centre Ollie Devoto on the bench, are looking to bounce back after their defeat to France in last week’s opening Six Nations match.
“Scotland are a dangerous side,” said England head coach Eddie Jones. “They like to play with a lot of width and with a lot of flow and tempo in their game. We want to make sure we dominate the gain-line.
“Their win record against England at Murrayfield is substantially higher than their overall record against us, so we have to recognise they are a dangerous beast and we have to be at our best to beat them.”
Scotland will be captained by Exeter Chiefs full-back Stuart Hogg.
