BRISTOL Bears named an unchanged line-up ahead of Saturday’s visit to Wasps in Round Eight of the Gallagher Premiership (1pm KO).
Head coach Pat Lam keeps faith in the team that fell to a last-gasp defeat to unbeaten Exeter Chiefs last weekend as Steven Luatua and Charles Piutau successfully complete concussion protocols.
“After the big team effort on display last weekend, the players have been challenged this week to not only repeat that performance, but step it up again,” said Lam.
“Each game is massive opportunity for us to learn and grow as a team. We are understanding the importance of trusting one another to do their roles and that’s going to be vital away from home against a determined Wasps team.”
Siale Piutau returns from international duty with Tonga to be included among the replacements, while Bristol are boosted by the return of Harry Thacker and Ian Madigan from injury.
