CORNWALL have named their team to open their 2019 Bill Beaumont County Championship campaign at Kent on Saturday (2.30pm).
The squad is selected from a range of clubs from level eight up to level three, with seven Redruth players in the 22-man team.
Previous County Championship winner Matt Shepherd is available for the trip to Medway, but could feature later in the campaign. However, fellow Plymouth Albion players Jon Dawe and Frazer Honey will start against Kent.
Cornwall will be looking to build on their 28-13 Tamar Cup win over Devon last month.
County chairman Denis Preece said: “It’s now up to the players to build on the recent Tamar Cup and training to get the important first win in the Championship South Pool Division One on Saturday.”
