JACK COSGROVE has left Bristol Bears by mutual consent and re-joined his former club Worcester Warriors.
The 24-year-old arrived at Bristol in the summer of 2017 and was member of their Championship-winning team, but has only made one top-flight appearance this season.
Worcester were looking for front-row cover as Ryan Bower has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to an Achilles tendon injury.
Bristol head coach Pat Lam said: “Jack was keen to get some regular game-time and we fully support his decision. We couldn’t guarantee Jack as many minutes as he needs, so he’s moved on with our best wishes.
“On behalf of Bristol Bears, we thank Jack for his contribution and for the role he played in helping the team achieve promotion last season.”
Warriors academy product Cosgrove, who was capped by Scotland at Under-20 level, has been registered by Worcester for their European Challenge Cup campaign, which resumes this Friday night in France against Pau.
