NOWELL FACING SPELL ON THE SIDELINES DUE TO HAMSTRING TEAR

EXETER Chiefs star Jack Nowell is facing eight weeks out with a hamstring tear.

Cornishman Nowell picked up the injury while on England duty. It forced him to miss the final Quilter Autumn International against Australia last weekend.

Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxeter said:  “Jack’s got a pretty significant hamstring tear. It’s one of those injuries which is likely to be around the eight-week mark, give or take a week depending on how his rehab goes. Ironically, he should be back in time to fight for a place in the Six Nations.”
