SPENCER SET FOR SIX NATIONS DEBUT

BEN SPENCER could make his Six Nations debut for England this weekend after being called into the squad as a replacement for the injured Dan Robson.

Former Ivybridge Community College pupil Spencer, who plays for Saracens, earned two England caps on last summer’s tour of South Africa.

His Six Nations chance comes with fellow scrum-half players Danny Care and Richard Wigglesworth also injured.

England will win the Six Nations if they beat Scotland and Grand Slam-chasing Wales lose to Ireland.

Bath’s uncapped forward Elliott Stooke is also named in England’s 26-man squad, which will be cut to 23 on Thursday.

Exeter’s Jack Nowell could return after missing last week’s match due to injury.
