BRISTOL were presented with the Greene King IPA Championship trophy after their final home game of the season, in front of a crowd of 13,100, when they were 68-10 winners over Doncaster Knights.
It was the final home game in the Bristol colours for full back Jordan Williams, wing David Lemi, scrum half Rhodri Williams, props Soane Tonga’uiha, Gaston Cortes and Ryan Bevington who are all moving on at the end of the season.
Tries from Tonga’uiha and Cortes plus centre Siale Piutau and two from wing Luke Morahan, on his birthday. with fly-half Ian Madigan converting all five as Bristol went into the break 35-3 ahead.
In the second half there were tries from flanker Sam Jeffries, centre Alapati Leiua, scrum half Rhodri Williams and two more from Morahan, plus three Madigan conversions and one for Callum Sheedy
