Top Brits will be heading to Plymouth

Plymouth Life Centre bosses have pulled off a major coup by not only being awarded next year’s British Elite Junior Diving Championships but also the highly prestigious British Diving Championships.

The latter competition, the UK’s biggest domestic diving event, will take place between January 26-28 when the nation’s elite divers will showcase their talent as the sport progresses through the Tokyo 2020 cycle.

The competition will see the return of Plymouth-born World ten- metre platform champion Tom Daley to the venue he graced for many years as part of the highly-successful Plymouth Diving team.

The British Elite Junior Diving Championships will be hosted at the Life Centre from April 2-5 when the country’s rising stars will be seen battling it out for honours.

The four-day event is the highlight of the domestic junior calendar with the top divers under the age of 18 competing in three different age groups.
